Biosketch


   Tim Grether's extensive post graduate experience has covered the full spectrum of the mental health field from inpatient settings to outpatient  clinics with thousands of hours of psychotherapy with individuals, couples and families to supervisory, administrative and program development positions:   

    Psychotherapist/Counselor in various inpatient/outpatient settings in the intermountain area.
  
    
 
    Director, Residential Adolescent Evaluation and Treatment Program for the State of Wyoming (over 50 staff).
 

    Behavior Development Specialist for Alcohol Drug Treatment Program at Wyoming State Hospital.

    Senior Clinician, Human Affairs International ,Salt Lake City, Utah, the then largest EAP  (Employee Assistance Program) in the world.
 

    Liaison Field Psychiatric Social Worker/Clinician for State of Wyoming doing pre-admission psychiatric assessments/screenings and developing follow-up community based release planning.

    Psychotherapist subsidized by the Arizona Supreme Court Grant "Renewing Arizona Family Traditions" to provide intensive home-based therapeutic alternatives to incarceration of youth.

    Developed and directed a Wellness EAP for the Estes Park Medical Center.

    Private Practice as Mountain Wellness in Estes Park.


Tim has also conducted many stress management workshops and been a presenter for the Colorado Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, and the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine.


          
          HONORS:
 

      Cum Laude graduate in Psychology, University of Wisconsin with academic scholarships throughout.


     National Institute of Mental Health Scholarships for both years of study at Denver University's Graduate School of Social Work.

    Honored at ribbon cutting ceremony by Governor of Wyoming and State Elected Officials for development and direction of new Adolescent Evaluation & Treatment Program.

    Commendation for innovative work in the EAP industry with Human Affairs International for introducing stress management & biofeedback to EAP's brief therapy model.

    Appointed to Governor's Task Force on Wyoming's Mental Health Delivery System and attended statewide public hearings with the Secretary of State.

    Honored by Santa Cruz County Juvenile Probation and Parole for developing preventative programs and alternatives to incarceration of youth.
